We need leaders who will take responsibility. Who will always put the effort in to improve Mount Olive. This isn’t a twice a month job, this is an every-day commitment to our neighbors. We’re not talking about change for the sake of change. We need change so that we can:
- Make our roads safer: Major roads in Mount Olive are notorious for dangerous intersections, traffic backups and the inability to walk & cross safely. The sidewalk study done in 2018 sits on a shelf while developments are approved and conditions get worse. It’s time to fight for sidewalks, traffic lights, and dividers where we need them.
- Invigorate Businesses: Forging a strong connection between the Town Council and the Business Community. Working with business owners, young entrepreneurs, and residents to build a strong local economy that works for everyone.
- Beautify our Township: Pushing for a cleaner town and restoring Budd Lake, which was known for clean water, outdoor recreation and family fun before it became notorious for algae blooms, overgrown weeds, and an under-utilized beach.
- Create an Accountable Town Council: Putting an end to the absences, inaccessible meetings, and lack of community outreach. Building a Town Council that communicates openly, actively, and often with our Town Council.
We need leaders who aren’t afraid to fight for what Mount Olive Needs. Complacency is never the answer. Today, vote for New Voices with Real Vision!
