Thank you
Thank you to each and every person who supported us on this campaign. To everyone who volunteered their time, to everyone who donated, to everyone who provided spaces for us to hold events, and to everyone who voted for our ticket we are eternally grateful to you. And to all ...the residents of Mount Olive who treated us kindly, regardless of party or vote, we appreciate you.
The results of Tuesday's election weren't what we had hoped for. But we know that fighting for a serious and consistent effort to address our Town's needs is never a fight taken up in error. We all hope that you continue the fight for what you believe in. An energetic, accountable, transparent, and engaged Town Council.
The incumbent town council members were our opponents, they are now our representatives. We hope, and trust, that they will take seriously the need to represent each and every voice in Mount Olive. Congratulations to them for their victory.
-The Vote Mount Olive Team
Good morning Facebook family and friends. Well, I gave it 100% but fell short of winning a seat on the Mount Olive Town Council. This was an amazing journey, during which I learned a lot about myself and made some new friends along the way.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to ...everyone who voted for me and supported my campaign. If you said a prayer, sent an encouraging word, made a monetary donation, canvassed, phone, or text banked on my behalf, I am deeply appreciative of your tremendous efforts over the past seven months.
I want to thank my running mates, the Mount Olive Democrats, Sheri and especially James, our campaign manager. What an amazing job you did. You should be extremely proud of your efforts.
Congratulations to the incumbents. We look forward to seeing how you will move the Mount Olive community towards becoming the go-to destination of northwest NJ.
~Antoine Gayles, Ed.D.
We need leaders who will take responsibility. Who will always put the effort in to improve Mount Olive. This isn’t a twice a month job, this is an every-day commitment to our neighbors. We’re not talking about change for the sake of change. We need change so that we can:
Make ...our roads safer: Major roads in Mount Olive are notorious for dangerous intersections, traffic backups and the inability to walk & cross safely. The sidewalk study done in 2018 sits on a shelf while developments are approved and conditions get worse. It’s time to fight for sidewalks, traffic lights, and dividers where we need them.
Invigorate Businesses: Forging a strong connection between the Town Council and the Business Community. Working with business owners, young entrepreneurs, and residents to build a strong local economy that works for everyone.
Beautify our Township: Pushing for a cleaner town and restoring Budd Lake, which was known for clean water, outdoor recreation and family fun before it became notorious for algae blooms, overgrown weeds, and an under-utilized beach.
Create an Accountable Town Council: Putting an end to the absences, inaccessible meetings, and lack of community outreach. Building a Town Council that communicates openly, actively, and often with our constituents.
We need leaders who aren’t afraid to fight for what Mount Olive Needs. Complacency is never the answer. Today, vote for New Voices with Real Vision

IT’S TIME TO VOTE FOR NEW VOICES ON TOWN COUNCIL
It’s time to re-energize our Council and move beyond “We’re trying”.
It’s time for accountability, accessibility, and inclusivity.
It’s time to add cultural, professional, and political ...diversity.
It’s time for a Town Council that will show up, engage, and lead.
It’s time to elect Dr. Antoine Gayles, Nicole Spaldo, Alicia Sharma, and Jordan Bernstein to Represent You.

It’s Time for More than a “We’re trying” Town Council
The current Town Council does not pursue solutions to our infrastructure needs with the urgency and intensity that they require. Whether it is sidewalks, Budd Lake, roads, or water, we will work day in and day out to address the ...needs of our Township and its residents. The party line of the incumbents is “we’re trying.” Ours will be “we’re doing.”
Vote November 2: Gayles, Spaldo, Sharma, and Bernstein for Mount Olive Town Council.
